St. Andrew with St. Luke, Stoke Damerel
- Ecclesiastical
A Church has stood on this site since the 1200s. The Grade II* listed Church is unusual because a plaque in the Church records a continuous roll of Rectors dating back to 1310; it has a fascinating history. The building as it stands is one of only a few Georgian Churches in Plymouth, albeit much modified by the Victorians.
The project involved the creation of a new level stone floor with underfloor heating, to enable the elegant space to be used for a wide variety of uses by the Church and wider community. The work involved excavation to create new levels for the insulated floor and new MEP services.
