Lighting scheme
Le Page Architects, acted as Church Architect working closely with the PCC of this beautiful Grade II* listed Church to gain faculty consent for a new lighting scheme. The project was completed in the summer of 2018.
The existing Church was gloomy and it was impossible to appreciate the details of the carved joinery and the roof. It was even hard to read a hymn book at certain times of the year.
Working with Pyramid, many light fittings were trialled on site and then finalised during installation to ensure that the PCC’s brief was satisfied. The whole process took a great deal of time and effort, but the outcome is an outstanding improvement and everyone concerned is delighted with the results.
