St Mary’s Church Plympton is listed grade II* and is a well-used church. The PCC wanted to create a better welcome for worshippers and visitors. Le Page Architects were commissioned to design new doors to the south entrance. The new doors, which were made locally use traditional materials in a distinctly modern design. The doors create the appropriate welcoming impression which the PCC had hoped for.
